The BMT Blind Foil

The BMT Blind Foil is Alex Knost pushing his own design language forward once again. Building off the speed, drive, and flow of the Experimental Dental, this is a cleaner, faster, more responsive take on his ongoing Twinzer obsession. 

Underneath, belly transitions to vee under the front foot, while a tail channel adds bite when the board’s on rail. The rocker stays even, the swallow stays tight, and everything works together to keep speed high without sacrificing control. The outline carries a continuous curve, allowing the Blind Foil to scale from 6’4” to 6’11” without losing momentum. Go longer if you want glide and room to move, shorter if you want it tighter and more reactive.

The Twinzer setup is where it all lights up. You get the looseness and speed of a twin, but with the canards adding just enough hold to let you lean harder, redirect tighter, and go straight off the lip without the board skipping out. Strange, fast, and deceptively functional, exactly how Knost likes it.
